Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Assistant Dental Office Manager (Operations Lead) in a full-time role in the United States. You will oversee front office operations, supervise administrative staff, and deliver excellent patient service. You’ll participate in an eight-week training program to succeed in your role.

Salary ranges from $20 to $22 per hour with incentive opportunities. Aspen Dental offers a comprehensive benefits package and career development in a supportive culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior patient service with compassion and care in accordance with patient needs and policies.
• Collaborate with dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Consult with patients on treatment options and verify insurance payments.
• Supervise daily non-clinical front office tasks under the Manager.
• Review data daily to evaluate practice impact.
• Oversee scheduling and confirmations of patient appointments.
• Verify insurance payments, collections, deposits and card processing.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by Manager.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As an Assistant Dental Office Manager, you will report to the Manager and perform daily front office tasks and duties to help create lasting impressions and build trust and loyalty with patients. When you join an Aspen Dental practice, you’ll participate in an eight-week training program to succeed in your role.

• Provide superior patient service with compassion and care in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards
• Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
• Consult with patients on treatment options provided by clinical team, verifying insurance payment and collection ensuring high quality of care
• Under the direction of the Manager, supervise and reinforce the daily tasks and priorities of the non-clinical team
• Review data day to day to evaluate the impact on the practice
• Oversee scheduling and confirming patient appointments
• Verify insurance payment, collection, balance nightly deposits and credit card processing
• Additional tasks assigned by the Manager

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Demonstrate analytical thinking; place a premium on leveraging data
• Organized and detail oriented
