Qualifications

• Ph.D., Ed.D., or Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years experience in academic advising administration.
• Experience working with students at risk.
• Ability to supervise professional, graduate, and administrative staff and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to diversity and the Jesuit mission of Seattle University.

Responsibilities

• Represent CAS as Dean’s Designee with the Office of the Registrar on academic forms and policy reviews.
• Oversee quarterly academic standings and determine probation or dismissal decisions.
• Meet with students facing hardships and navigate hardship withdrawal processes.
• Collaborate with CAS Lead Advisor and CARE team for interventions.
• Lead admissions and yield efforts, coordinate CAS programming at major events.
• Administer CAS scholarships and manage awards/disbursements.
• Plan and execute CAS graduation celebrations and recognition processes.
• Maintain integrity of student records and participate in committees and working groups.
