• Ability to prioritize complex tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and managerial oversight for the Office of the Vice Dean for Research in the College of Medicine.
• Participate in strategic planning processes, identifying funding priorities and areas for capacity-building, and providing actionable research metrics.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders to encourage external funding.
• Advise senior leadership on financial projections, objectives, and policies in support of the College's research mission.
• Plan and review staff work; hire, train, and develop staff to meet group objectives.
• Represent the College on research-related matters within the university community.
