Job summary

Salem State University is seeking an Assistant Dean, Partnerships and Programs to strengthen relationships with PK-12 districts, community colleges, and community organizations across Massachusetts. You will support the School of Education’s academic initiatives and coordinate educator preparation efforts with a focus on outcomes for students and communities.

Job description

Salem State University's School of Education prepares educators who serve classrooms and communities across Massachusetts. As Assistant Dean, Partnerships and Programs, you will help strengthen the relationships and systems that support this work.

In this role, you will develop and maintain partnerships with PK-12 school districts, community colleges, and community organizations while supporting the School's academic and programmatic initiatives. You will collect and analyze partnership and program data to inform continuous improvement efforts, oversee partnership agreements, and help coordinate initiatives that enhance educator preparation and student success.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PK-12, community-based settings, and higher education/educator preparation collaboration experience
Working Location

This is a hybrid position in Salem, MA with on-campus, in-person responsibilities, which may require occasional work on evenings and weekends.

Employment is contingent upon a completed background and CORI check satisfactory to the university.
