Job Description: Performs other duties as assigned. Represents the associate degree program to the Department of Nursing Administration and assists the Dean in representation to Senior University Administration. Assumes leadership for the department in the Dean’s absence. Designs, coordinates, evaluates, and implements program curriculum. Engages in program planning and assessment at both the department and institutional levels. Assists the Dean with strategic planning, updating goals, objectives, and assessments. Manages fiscal responsibilities, including resource allocation and long-term planning. Completes faculty evaluations and communicates results to support ongoing professional development. Oversees program accreditation and prepares annual reports for the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Develops, designs, and delivers course instruction. Participates in student advising, mentorship, and scholarly activities. Engages in academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship, and research. Maintains a strong presence in professional organizations at state and national levels.
