Northeastern Illinois University is seeking an Assistant Dean of Students for Undocumented Student Resources and Student Care to provide comprehensive student support and program leadership through a coordinated, advocacy-centered approach.

The role focuses on Student Care and Case Management, serving as a case manager for students facing personal, academic, or financial challenges, and on Undocumented Student Resources, leading access to resources and training to promote equity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Student Personnel Administration, Higher Education Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a diverse higher education setting.
• Understanding of needs of diverse student populations, including undocumented students.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate undocumented student resources and lead administrator support for inclusive practices.
• Serve on the Student Behavioral Concerns Team to coordinate interventions and communications.
• Advise students on policies and options and connect them with campus/community resources.
