Job description

Pay Range:

$15.50- $24.50

Summary

Responsible for ensuring each Front End associate provides fast, friendly, and efficient customer service. Oversees the entire Front End operation of the store, including customer checkout (registers, scanning, and service), bottle return, cleaning of the break room and restrooms, and maintaining the parking lot and sidewalk area. Ensures all front end policies and procedures are followed at all times. Assists the Customer Service Manager in communicating and enforcing company programs among Front End staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-level customer service and courtesy consistently.
  2. Maintain company 5S efficiency standards.
  3. Ensure associates ask customers for an AdvantEdge Card and acknowledge customers courteously.
  4. Monitor shrink-related items and control measures.
  5. Train and supervise cashiers, bottle associates, and service clerks.
  6. Schedule staff and perform administrative duties.
  7. Maintain cashier controls, security, and adherence to cash policies.
  8. Manage supplies and expenses for the Front End area.
  9. Oversee cash control and accurate record-keeping in cashier logs.
  10. Assist in managing Front End expenses such as payroll and over/shorts.
  11. Ensure accurate and efficient customer order processing.
  12. Record pricing errors promptly.
  13. Keep the Front End area clean, safe, and compliant with sanitation regulations.
  14. Maintain organized workstations and merchandising racks.
  15. Ensure associates work within efficiency standards.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned and comply with company policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Positive performance reviews.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Basic literacy and computer skills.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Exposure to cold and hot environments (occasional).
  • Constant bending, walking, standing, grasping, twisting, and pivoting.
  • Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs, frequent pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Equipment Used
  • Phone, computer applications, calculator, register, cleaning tools, floor machine.
  • *Equipment used by minors should adhere to the company policy dated June 2008.
