Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Promotes excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer-focused behavior with associates. Greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns promptly and professionally. Focuses on continuous improvement.
  2. Assists the Customer Experience Manager in overseeing front-end operations and performs their duties in their absence. May assume full responsibility for store operations when management is absent.
  3. Enforces cash handling, security measures, and compliance with policies and laws related to sales, lottery, WIC, etc. Oversees bookkeeping procedures.
  4. Supports associates with transactions, audits cashiers, and ensures efficient checkout processes.
  5. Helps onboard and train new associates, implements programs, recognizes performance, and participates in performance reviews. Uses LMS for training.
  6. Uses auto-scheduler to manage associate schedules, meet business demands, and control labor costs.
  7. Manages supply costs and inventory levels to meet demand.
  8. Controls customer flow, ensures sufficient checkouts, and monitors breaks to minimize wait times.
  9. Oversees lot attendant services and operates checkout equipment efficiently.
  10. Assists with customer service calls, maintains equipment functionality, and communicates promotions and store information.
  11. Maintains cleanliness and safety in the parking lot and store areas, follows sanitation schedules, and disposes of trash properly.
  12. Supports overall department and store functions, continuously improving job performance.
  13. May assist with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries, and with other related duties as trained.
  14. Utilizes PPE and may assist other departments as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises all department associates and may assume total leadership in the absence of store management, depending on store size.

Qualification Requirements
