Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant Customer Experience Manager is responsible for the following duties, in addition to others as assigned:

  1. Promotes excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer-focused behavior with associates. Greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns promptly and professionally. Focuses on continuous improvement and implements changes accordingly.
  2. Assists the Customer Experience Manager in overseeing all front-end operations and performs their duties in their absence. May assume full responsibility for store operations if management is unavailable.
  3. Enforces cash handling controls and security measures to prevent losses, adheres to policies and laws regarding sales and compliance, and oversees bookkeeping procedures.
  4. Supports associates with cash register operations, conducts audits, and assists with onboarding and training new staff.
  5. Uses scheduling systems to manage staffing and meet business demands while controlling labor costs.
  6. Manages inventory levels, controls supply costs, and supervises customer flow and checkout efficiency.
  7. Operates equipment, maintains equipment functionality, and reports issues promptly.
  8. Communicates promotions and sales to staff, participates in store meetings, and maintains store knowledge to assist customers effectively.
  9. Ensures safety and sanitation standards are met in all areas, including parking lots and workspaces.
  10. Assists with other duties such as receiving deliveries or handling equipment, following proper training and safety protocols.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises all department associates and may lead the store in the absence of management, depending on store size and staffing.

Qualifications

Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily, with or without accommodations. Supervisory experience is required.

Rate of Pay and Benefits

Position pay ranges from $16.00 to $25.00 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
