Snoqualmie Valley School District 410 is seeking an Assistant Custodian to support building operations after school hours. The role includes cleaning, light maintenance, and ensuring doors and facilities are secure.

The position offers a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., starting Sept 10, 2026, with paid breaks. Salary range is $30.58 to $33.14 per hour, plus district benefits.

Assistant Custodian
Anticipated start date: September 10, 2026
Monday - Friday: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (includes two 15-minute paid break and one 30-minute unpaid meal break)
Weekly working hours: 40
Wage: $30.58 -$33.14 per hour (2026-27 PSE Salary Schedule )

• Insurance: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, basic life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance provided the assignment is anticipated to work at least 630 hours per year.*
• Retirement Plans: This position is eligible for a 403(b) TSA Retirement Savings Plan.
• Paid Holidays:This position is eligible for up to 13paid holidays per year.The number of holidays depends on employee's start and end dates.
• Paid Time Off: Employees working 12 months per year earn 12 days of paid vacation per school year. Employees working 237 - 260 days per school year earn 12 days of sick leave. Up to 3 days of personal leave may be granted each school year. Vacation, sick leave, and personal leave are based on scheduled hours and position start date.

*Snoqualmie Valley School District benefits are administered by the Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) under the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB).

Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31). Any employee who is scheduled to work 630 hours or more in a year is eligible for benefits.
