Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and motivatedAssistant Culinary Managerto support our culinary team and ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in both hands-on kitchen management and administrative coordination. You will assist theSous Chefin daily operations, from menu planning to inventory management, while also providing essential support to theFront-of-House Managerto keep our service seamless.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist theSous Chefwith inventory audits, regular stock checks, and ordering needs
  • Provideadministrative supportto theFront-of-House Manager, including menu program preparation and printing
  • Coordinateproject planning and executionto ensure timely completion of key initiatives
  • Organize and managestorage unitsin collaboration with theOperations Managerand department leadership
  • Maintainclear communicationwith culinary staff, front-of-house teams, and management
  • Monitor foodquality, presentation, and safetyin both the kitchen and café
  • Step into aguest-facing rolewhen needed, including:
    • Greeting guests and ensuring a positive experience
    • Conducting quality checks in food service areas
    • Addressing guest concerns professionally and efficiently
What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experiencein kitchen management or a related role
  • Food safety certification(e.g., ServSafe)
  • Strongorganizational, time management, and problem-solvingskills
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonalabilities
  • Ability toprioritize tasksin a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity withfood safety and sanitation practices
  • Proficiency in Google Suitefor administrative tasks
  • Professionalbusiness casual attirerequired in guest-facing or office settings
  • Non-slip shoesrequired in kitchen/food service areas for safety

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability tolift 10-50 lbs.and move equipment as needed
  • Frequentstanding, walking, bending, and balancing(minimum 8-hour shifts)
  • Exposure tofast-paced kitchen environmentswith moderate to high noise levels
  • Office tasks includeprolonged computer useand desk work
