The County of Santa Barbara is seeking up to 2 Assistant County Executive Officers to provide high-level leadership, advisement, and project management for the executive office and Board of Supervisors. This role supervises department directors and other executive staff, ensuring delivery of public services and strategic initiatives across a complex municipal organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is highly desirable for the role.
• 8+ years of increasingly responsible administrative and management experience in a full-service municipal environment.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a results-oriented confidant, advisor, collaborator, problem solver, and project manager for executive leadership.
• Directly supervise department directors and other executive managers and staff.
• Help execute the goals and objectives of the executive office and Board of Supervisors and ensure delivery of services to the public.

Formação académica

Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or related field
