Qualifications

• Knowledge of civil and criminal law; juvenile law is a plus.
• Ability to interpret laws, prepare opinions, and draft briefs.
• Strong research, analytical, and written/oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform criminal and civil legal work for county; represent county in litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and court documents; conduct legal research and prepare briefs.
• Advise county officials and departments on legal matters; oversee assistants and interns as needed.
• Identify and resolve problems facing county officials and employees; propose viable alternatives.
