Role Overview

The Assistant Corporate Controller is a key leadership role overseeing the company’s accounting and reporting functions. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role encompasses broad responsibilities across accounting, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, managing month-end close, reviewing complex matters, and project management. Some travel to Dallas, Texas (5-10%) is expected.

What You'll Do

• Oversee consolidated and segment-level accounting, including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Manage the consolidation of segment financials into the ERP and improve integration processes.
• Review monthly financial reports for the Executive Team.
• Supervise technical and complex accounting areas, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Identify and assess new technical accounting issues, including revenue recognition, share-based compensation, leasing, and goodwill assessments.
• Oversee external audits and ensure compliance with SEC and statutory requirements.
• Maintain and review accounting policies.
• Prepare materials for the Audit Committee and review quarterly/annual filings.
• Support ad-hoc projects as needed.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 background.
• Experience in technology/SAAS and public companies is highly preferred.
• Strong ERP system skills, especially NetSuite.
• Technical expertise in areas like ASC 606, ASC 350, ASC 805, ASC 330.
• Leadership skills with experience managing teams.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Motivated team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
