Job summary

Qualifications

• Current NC Basic Law Enforcement Certification
• Current General Instructor certification by NC Department of Justice, Training and Standards Division
• Certification as a Qualified Assistant (QA) with NC DOJ & Sheriff’s Standards Commission or ability to obtain within 90 days
• A valid North Carolina Driver’s License or ability to attain one upon hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities, equipment, and student records; ensure safe, compliant learning spaces
• Provide limited BLET and General Instructor instruction within certified topic areas
• Maintain and update student records; perform duties as assigned by supervisor
