We are currently seeking an outstanding Assistant Cook to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

1. Prepare food daily as outlined on the weekly menu plan.
2. Assist with menu planning; review and adjust menus with supervisor to accommodate special dietary needs of residents or to improve recipes.
3. Maintain a written inventory of dry goods, refrigerated and frozen foods, non-food supplies, dishes, and utensils.
4. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe kitchen environment.
5. Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of food for infection control.
6. Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
7. Coordinate and participate in serving food.

Qualifications:

• Cooking experience preferred.
• Experience or interest in working with older adults.
