Base pay range

$18.37/hr - $27.56/hr

Lakeland Central School District is seeking Assistant Cooks (2 positions). Under general supervision this employee assists in the preparation, cooking and serving of a variety of foods in large quantities for use in a school lunch program. This is routine work calling for exercise of good cooking knowledge. Receives and inspects food to be cooked. Participates in the cleaning of the kitchen, serving, storage and dining areas as well as care of equipment. May prepare and bake rolls, cakes, pies, etc. Assists in serving food to students. Minimum acceptable training and experience: One (1) year of experience where the primary function of the position was in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food on a large scale. Large scale if defined as the preparation, cooking and serving of food for more than 200 people on a daily basis. M-F. Building - TBD Hours: 7:30 am - 1:30 pm Salary: $18.37 - $27.56
