Job summary

CLA is seeking an Assistant Controller to join our Fund Administration group in one of our Northeast, Midwest, Sunbelt, or West offices. This role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support client and firm objectives.

You will prepare statements, forecast requirements, monitor costs, and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate financial management across the fund portfolio.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Records and analyzes client’s financial information.
• Analyzes and interprets financial information that client leaders need to make sound business decisions.
• Prepares financial reports for other groups (creditors, regulatory agencies, and tax authorities, and more).
• Reviews and monitors costs inherent in the business.
• Schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, and may identify corrective actions when necessary.
• Ability to independently prepare financial statements.
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, prepares budgets, schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, and initiates corrective actions when necessary.

The wage range for this position in Minnesota is: $90,500 - 135,000.
