Job summary

Darragh Company, a fourth-generation family-owned business, is seeking an experienced accounting leader in Little Rock, AR to direct departmental activities and drive close processes. This role involves supervising accountants, ensuring GAAP compliance, and coordinating audits across the finance team.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience required.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports and documentation.
• Direct maintenance of ledgers, AR, revenue distribution, depreciation, costs and insurance records.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audit materials and reporting.
• Oversee general accounting tasks including daily postings and reconciliation of entries.
• Develop solutions to discrepancies and support tax reconciliations and ERP data integrity initiatives.
