The Role

We’re hiring a Controller to run our accounting operations end-to-end. This is a well-defined seat with autonomy and immediate impact. You’ll own the close process, reconciliations, and reporting packages that leadership and investors depend on. It’s a hands-on role, ideal for a CPA or strong accounting operator who thrives in detail and structure. While the primary focus is operational accuracy and timeliness, the position also offers visibility to leadership and private equity partners — a strong foundation for future growth into broader finance leadership for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
• Manage cash management, expense controls, and revenue recognition
• Deliver financial statements and reporting packages for leadership and investors
• Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance standards
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate inputs
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience (controller/senior manager level)
• CPA (or equivalent strong technical accounting background) preferred
• Must have led accounting operations, not just supported
• Hands-on operator — thrives in detail and accuracy, not just delegation
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Sage Intacct experience a plus)
• Background in SaaS, VAR, or professional services industries a plus
• Comfort in a remote-first, EOS-driven organization — disciplined, proactive, structured
