Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller in managing accounting operations and financial reporting. This role includes overseeing general ledger activities, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance, and leading a team. The Assistant Controller supports the Controller in overseeing the company’s accounting operations and plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the financial reporting. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key responsibilities include managing the general ledger, preparing timely and accurate financial statements, and delivering insightful financial analyses to support both internal business teams and external reporting requirements. The Assistant Controller also directly supervises the Accounts Payable function, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of transactions.
In addition, this role contributes significantly to the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights that help measure performance against strategic goals. The Assistant Controller also serves as a key liaison with external auditors and financial institutions, supporting audits and maintaining strong banking relationships.
