Qualifications

Job Purpose: Support the controller by overseeing accounting-related activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing financial statements. They manage journal entries, assist with budgets and forecasts, and contribute to internal controls.Qualifications:Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting plus 5 years’ experience with a manufacturing company.Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), SOX and J-SOX compliance internal controls, and financial reporting. Knowledge, development/administration of policies on finance, financial statements, cash management, accounting, tax, payroll, cash disbursements, computer systems, internal controls, budgets, auditsSkills and Abilities: Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools. Knowledge of PLEX (UX) and Paycom preferred. Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate financial information. Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.
