Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; back-office accounting software experience a plus.
• Ability to manage deadlines and high volumes of work independently.
• Strong communication skills and sound judgment with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow, and budgets.
• Support external audits, tax returns, and insurance audits.
• Reconcile construction loans, lot sales, and closings in MarkSystem accounting program.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Schedule and support policy/procedure documentation.
