About the Company

Our client is a global alternative asset manager specializing in multi‑strategy investing, focusing on areas such as credit, real estate, and institutional equities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily accounting, operations, and financial reporting functions
• Review property records to ensure proper consolidation in compliance with GAAP
• Manage the monthly NAV and close process in compliance with reporting deadlines and internal controls
• Coordinate property consolidation with third‑party administration
• Manage the preparation of annual and quarterly GAAP financial statements for SEC financial reporting
• Research and prepare technical accounting memos as needed for new acquisitions and accounting positions
• Support the valuation process of investment properties
• Monitor public book trades with internal operations teams to ensure accurate reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• CPA required
• 8‑10 years of experience in real estate accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC financial reporting standards
• Proficient in the application of US GAAP standards and accounting principles related to REITs
• Familiarity with Workiva preferred
