Job description

The Assistant Controller will be instrumental in managing accounting functions and supporting all facets of financial management. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, support month-end close processes, prepare timely financial reports, and ensure regulatory compliance—all while strengthening internal controls and financial transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the general ledger

  • Assist in overseeing accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

  • Execute month-end and year-end close processes

  • Prepare and publish timely and accurate financial statements

  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements

  • Research and resolve technical accounting issues in compliance with GAAP

  • Ensure quality control over financial reporting

  • Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

  • Provide in-depth monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial analysis

  • Serve as a key liaison with external auditors

  • Contribute to internal controls, process improvements, and special projects

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, hands on month-end close experience is required

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

  • Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite experience preferred)

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a collaborative spirit
