Job summary

Paycom - ATS Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the accounting function in a real estate environment. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, oversee the general ledger, and maintain strong internal controls to support growth and stability.

The role requires 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, real estate knowledge, and strong leadership skills. CPA preferred; ERP systems experience essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• CPA certification is strongly preferred and ongoing professional education is expected.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory roles; real estate knowledge is a plus.
