Overview Of The Assistant Controller Role

Assist the Controller in managing accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by providing detailed financial data and insights.
Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
Supervise and mentor the accounting team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications For The Assistant Controller Role

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Proven experience in accounting or financial management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Salary: $75,000.00 to $120,000.00 depending on experience
