A-Z Bus Sales, Inc in Colton, California is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the accounting department and ensure accurate financial records for the organization. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting along with five years of accounting experience.
This is a full-time position with standard hours from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Key responsibilities include analyzing accounting records, working on fiscal strategies, developing maintenance systems for financial records, and supporting the Controller with budget variance assessments.
The Assistant Controller position is responsible for serving as a team leader in the accounting department and ensuring the department creates accurate and timely financial records for the organization.

The assistant controller has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for those in the accounting department.

It also includes occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and bloodborne pathogens. Additional occasional exposures include risk of fire or explosion, electric shock, prolonged vibration, and loud noise levels. These conditions arise less than one-third of the time but remain relevant to the essential functions of the position.
