Duke Energy is seeking an Assistant Control Systems Technician to support engineering standards across substation and generation facilities in Indiana. You will help verify wiring diagrams, service meters, relays and data acquisition equipment, and participate in high voltage testing to ensure reliability and safety.
The role requires an associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass entry-level tests.

Work with extreme accuracy using specialized tools and test equipment for making precision adjustments on equipment.
The Assistant Control Systems Technician works in an environment that includes adverse and extreme weather conditions, high voltage, high steam pressure, confined spaces, dirt and noise. The job requires climbing and working at various heights, lifting and carrying moderately heavy test equipment.
Must meet the Company’s General Qualifications as set forth in the Forward to the Job Manual.
Must have an Associate Degree in electrical or electronic engineering technology or other related degree.
Must have satisfactorily passed entry-level tests.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
Must live within 45 miles of reporting location
Must weigh under 285lbs at time of hire
