Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a talented Assistant Contract Maintenance Manager (ACMM) for a bid proposal near Fort Stewart, GA, managing Operations and Maintenance (O&M), repair, minor construction, and sustainment contracts for government healthcare facilities. The role involves serving as the interface between the customer and the company, delivering site leadership, customer service, employee engagement, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage daily onsite facilities for a healthcare outpatient facility up to 2 million sq ft.
• Oversee managers, leads, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Be on call 24/7 for emergency response.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance by staff and subcontractors.
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance, repairs, and projects.
• Coordinate with customer Facility Management for reports, scheduling, and program updates.
• Ensure work complies with contract, healthcare codes, budgets, and standards.
• Address conflicts and deficiencies with reporting and corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation for TJC requirements, contract deliverables, staff certifications, and permits.
• Conduct staff training, safety briefings, and inspections.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, including performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare facilities maintenance, supervising 24/7 operations.
• Knowledge of NFPA, EPA, TJC, CMS, OSHA codes.
• At least 3 years’ experience with TJC compliance, including documentation for Environment of Care and Life Safety.
• Formal training in TJC standards.
• Preferred: 2+ TJC surveys, DMLSS CMMS experience, ASHE CHFM certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
• Fluent in English.
