Job summary

Worth Construction Co. Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent with experience supporting the management of field operations on a large-scale education project in Middletown, NY.

The role involves assisting the lead Superintendent in supervising field operations, labor forces, project safety, schedule, and material procurement, while interpreting drawings and specifications and learning to perform independent Superintendent tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising field operations on large-scale complex project.
• Understanding of construction safety principals and best practices.
• Understanding of civil, structural, and/or carpentry disciplines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Foxit, Excel and Submittal Exchange Software.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead Superintendent in supervising field operations and labor forces.
• Assist with project safety, quality, schedule, and safe work plans.
• Assist with materials procurement and interpretation of drawings and specifications.
