ROLE SUMMARY

The Assistant Construction Superintendent aids in managing a single site, ensuring the timely and quality completion of work by overseeing laborers, subcontractors, and third parties. This role involves assisting in other projects as assigned by the Construction Project Manager. The position reports to the Construction Superintendent on a project-by-project basis.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in managing day-to-day field operations of construction sites and project components.
2. Oversee subcontractors and laborers to ensure quality work within scope.
3. Communicate professionally with vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, and third parties.
4. Support the Construction Superintendent.
5. Execute construction work at the site when required.
6. Aid in other projects as directed by the Construction Superintendent.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

1. Familiarity with construction processes, project lifecycle, and industry standards.
2. OSHA or other safety training certifications.
3. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Experience with construction management software and tools.
6. Knowledge of safety programs, policies, and procedures.
7. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
