Job Title: Assistant Construction Superintendent

Join to apply for the Assistant Construction Superintendent role at Terra State Community College.

Seeking an Assistant Superintendent with carpentry experience or Carpenter Foreman for a direct hire opportunity in Madison, WI. This position offers Gas reimbursement, a possible company vehicle, and employee benefits including PTO, Medical, Vision, 401k, and more. Salary ranges from $35 to $45 hourly depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage crew for new construction framing and finish work on commercial ground-up and interior remodel projects.
2. Listen and think critically, take direction and feedback from the Superintendent, and communicate effectively.
3. Participate in and contribute to the construction schedule and project timeline.
4. Assist the Superintendent in maintaining a safe and productive job site.
5. Track work progress and compare it to the construction timeline regularly.
6. Lead by example through team building, communication, listening, and creative problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial or residential carpentry experience managing jobs.
• Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in finished carpentry and framing is desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
