Job summary

Hoar is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the construction and maintenance of structures and systems, participating in development, scheduling, and on-site execution.

You will build industry relationships, maintain logs and reports, update schedules, manage RFIs, submittals, and payments, and coordinate with subcontractors and owners. Travel between sites is expected, with outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years' experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with Viewpoint, Procore and VICO.
• Experience with BIM, MS Excel and MS Word.
• Valid Driver's License.
• LEED AP, DBIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up and maintain timely material deliveries.

• Manage trade partner qualification process.
• Manage change management process
• Assist in preparing monthly pay applications and reviewing subcontractors and vendors payment application.
• Prepare meeting minutes for all on site meetings with subcontractors and Owner.
• Prepare and monitor all requests for information (RFI's) and maintain RFI Log.
• Manage the entire submittal process.

This position participates in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

Responsibilities
