Job summary

GH Engage in Chicago is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a fast‑paced commercial contractor role. You will support the PM on live projects, help manage buyout, subcontracts, and schedule coordination on tenant improvements and ground‑up work.

Responsibilities

• Support the PM through buyout, construction and closeout on live commercial projects.
• Prepare, issue and track subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders.
• Manage submittals, RFIs and document control.
• Help maintain project schedules with the PM and superintendent, tracking look-aheads and procurement dates.
• Track budgets, cost reports and monthly pay applications.

GH Engage have partnered with an elite Chicago-based General Contractor to find them a hungry assistant project manager. A fantastic opportunity to join a well-known firm in the region and work on a host of commercial projects (both tenant improvements and ground-up.) This is a great option for an early-career CM grad looking to progress quickly and become a well-rounded PM.

The Mission:

• Support the PM through buyout, construction and closeout on live commercial projects
