Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that assist the senior program managers, including project planning, organizing team activities, preparing reports, and creating diagrams. Key tasks include creating proposal packages, organizing project documentation, and supporting the senior program managers with a broad range of projects. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Management & Financials

  • Develop and manage schedules and valuations.
  • Process change orders and ensure timely invoicing and payments.
  • Track job costs, monitor budgets, and attend job cost meetings.
  • Submit and follow up on invoices with Owners/General Contractors.

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with Owners/GCs.
  • Plan and oversee material deliveries and subcontractor schedules.
  • Communicate daily with field teams, foremen, and superintendents.

Operations & Site Oversight

  • Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Track personnel and equipment usage, coordinating with field leadership.

Project Administration

  • Review project contracts, bid documents, and specifications.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including submittals and reports.
  • Provide project updates and escalate issues as needed.
  • Ensure efficient project closeout.

  • Estimating or Construction Project Management experience preferred.
