Job summary

Wells is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help execute precast-prestressed concrete projects from award to closeout. You will assist with planning, coordination, financial tracking, and contract compliance while maintaining clear communication with internal teams and external partners.

The role offers growth toward a full Project Manager position. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in construction management and 3 years of APM or equivalent experience, with strong MS Office and SketchUp

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 3 years of APM or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple priorities.
• Ability to analyze data and make independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial tracking, risk management and client relations from pre construction through closeout.
• Support communication between all project stakeholders to align with project plans.
• Help ensure contract compliance and timely processing of change orders.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and tracking progress.
• Support project meetings, coordination and communication of key updates.
• Assist with project closeout documentation and post project reviews.
• Maintain accurate use of project management software and systems.
• Transition into a full Project Manager role within an expected timeframe.
