Job Description

Position Overview: The Assistant Construction Manager (ACM) is responsible for the safe and successful completion of projects within budget, on schedule, and meeting quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction. The ACM acts as the company's management representative, supporting the project team in various duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety policies are incorporated into all phases of work and enforce safety standards.
  • Participate in pre-job planning and mobilization.
  • Manage purchasing, scheduling, and vendor/contractor expediting.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Oversee submittals, change orders, and cost reports.
  • Ensure quality control and proper commissioning of projects.
  • Evaluate personnel, assist in recruiting, and promote team development.
Physical Demands:

Moderate physical activity including walking, climbing, stooping, and operating machinery. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business preferred.
  • 7+ years of construction-related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 and Adobe Suite.
