Job summary

UC Health is seeking a Full Time Assistant Compliance Officer to support the Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer in developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive compliance and business ethics program across UC Health and its entities.

You will work to ensure care and business practices align with federal, state, and local healthcare laws, while continuously improving the seven elements of the program and providing objective guidance to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer in developing, implementing, and maintaining UC Health's comprehensive compliance and business ethics program across UC Health and its entities.
• Help ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local healthcare laws and regulations and support continuous improvement of the seven elements of the overall compliance program.
• Provide independent analysis and guidance on compliance issues and keep leadership updated on progress and risks.

UC Health is hiring a Full Time Assistant Compliance Officer

To assist the Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer in developing, implementing, and engaging UC Health and each of its entities (UCMC, WCH, and UCPC) in an overall compliance and business ethics program that ensures that the health system is providing care and conducting business in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local healthcare laws and regulations and in conjunction with the UC Health Code of Conduct. Specifically, implement and continuously improve the seven elements of the overall compliance program and act as a consulting arm of the organization on compliance related issues. Work independently on issues and keep the Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer updated as needed.
