Job summary

Apace, serving York, Nebraska, is seeking an Assistant Community Support Coordinator who, under the supervision of the CSC or Area Director, supports staff supervision, training, health and well-being, and ISP implementation for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role may substitute for Direct Support Professionals when needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
Good communication skills and ability to document activities.

Responsibilities

Participates in hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
Identifies training needs and coordinates retraining or specialized training.
Monitors staff performance and provides feedback to CSC.
Assists in writing programs and advising on programming techniques and record-keeping.
