JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community by completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, fees, and other payments, completing bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations, and using the property management software to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the community.

Responsibilities
  1. Complete daily financial transactions including rent, fees, and payments; prepare bank deposits; reconcile accounts; generate financial reports; process invoices.
  2. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite), ensuring accurate data entry and system backups.
  3. Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  4. Review and process vendor and contractor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
  5. Follow procedures related to evictions, including notices, court representations, and legal compliance.
  6. Manage resident move-outs, applying deposits and fees, and processing dispositions legally and accurately.
  7. Respond promptly to resident complaints and requests to promote satisfaction and retention.
  8. Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the community manager, overseeing daily operations and maintenance coordination.
  9. Assist in managing owner relationships through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions; occasional travel may be required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range is $20.00 - $22.00, with additional factors influencing actual pay including experience and location.
