JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role supports the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community. Responsibilities include completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, bank deposits, account reconciliations, and utilizing property management software to record and report financial activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Handle daily financial transactions such as rent collection, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately and perform system backups.
  3. Review resident accounts for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  4. Review and process invoices from vendors and contractors, ensuring proper coding and approval.
  5. Follow procedures for evictions, including notices and legal proceedings.
  6. Manage move-outs, applying deposits and fees in accordance with lease terms and legal requirements.
  7. Respond promptly to resident inquiries and complaints to promote satisfaction and retention.
  8. Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, overseeing daily operations and maintenance coordination.
  9. Assist in managing owner relationships through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Stand, walk, sit, bend, and climb ladders; work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Lift and maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently, 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Travel may be required for property support, training, or meetings.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The hourly wage ranges from $17.50 to $24.00, influenced by experience, location, and business needs.
