Description

At Valiant Residential, we aim to innovate property management through prosperous partnerships and compassionate, spirited teams. We are seeking an Assistant Community Manager responsible for supporting the Community Manager in daily operations, leasing, marketing, and resident relations. The role involves managing leasing processes, maintaining records, handling resident communications, processing payments, and assisting with administrative and maintenance tasks.

  • Assist in preparing advertising materials and showing units.
  • Screen applicants and maintain rental data.
  • Support marketing initiatives and resident engagement.
  • Handle application processing, renewals, and lease administration.
  • Manage rent collections, legal procedures, and invoice processing.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Enforce community policies and maintain resident files.
  • Assist with legal proceedings and compliance.
  • Operate accounting software and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain open communication with team members and residents.

Requirements

Position requirements include Fair Housing Certification (or willingness to obtain), strong communication skills, a positive attitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends. Prior apartment management experience is preferred. Candidates should be neat, professional, and capable of diffusing customer concerns.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of college preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, climb, and walk for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform property tours in various weather conditions.
