Job Description Summary

Supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community by handling accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, processing payments, collecting rent, and managing property management software to track financial activities.

Responsibilities
  1. Handle daily financial transactions including rent collection, bank deposits, and invoice processing.
  2. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately and ensure data integrity.
  3. Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  4. Review and process vendor invoices, coordinate with relevant parties, and ensure proper coding and approval.
  5. Follow procedures for evictions, including notices, court proceedings, and legal compliance.
  6. Manage resident move-outs, apply deposits, and process lease cancellations according to legal requirements.
  7. Respond promptly to resident inquiries and complaints to promote satisfaction and retention.
  8. Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, overseeing daily operations and maintenance coordination.
  9. Assist in managing relationships with owners, providing community updates, and responding to owner requests.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions and be available for travel and flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate is $29.00 - $31.00, with potential bonuses based on performance. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, housing discounts, sabbaticals, 401(k), parental leave, and more.

Additional Information
