Job Description Summary

Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational aspects of the community, including accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, rent collection, and using property management software.

Responsibilities
  1. Complete daily financial transactions such as rent collection, invoice processing, and bank deposits.
  2. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately and securely.
  3. Review resident accounts for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  4. Review and process vendor invoices, coordinate with relevant parties, and ensure proper coding and approval.
  5. Follow procedures related to evictions, including notices, court proceedings, and representation.
  6. Manage resident move-outs, apply deposits, and process dispositions legally and correctly.
  7. Promote resident satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries and complaints.
  8. Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, delegating tasks and coordinating maintenance.
  9. Assist in managing owner relationships through meetings, community tours, and updates.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and bend for extended periods; work outdoors in all weather conditions; lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range is $20.00 - $22.00, with potential bonuses based on performance. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, housing discounts, a sabbatical after 10 years, 401(k) matching, parental leave, and more.
