JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community by completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, fees, and other payments, completing bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations, and using the property management software to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete daily transactions related to the community's financial operations, including rent collection, bank deposits, and financial reporting.
  2. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately and ensure data integrity through updates and backups.
  3. Review resident files and records to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease agreements to maximize revenue.
  4. Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper reconciliation, approval, and communication.
  5. Follow established procedures for evictions, including notices, court representation, and legal compliance.
  6. Manage resident move-outs, applying deposits and fees, and processing dispositions per legal requirements.
  7. Promote resident satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
  8. Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the community manager, coordinating maintenance and daily operations.
  9. Assist in managing owner relationships through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, sit, bend, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Travel may be required to other properties or for training and meetings.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits

The hourly range is $24.00 - $26.00, with additional factors influencing pay. Eligible for bonuses based on performance.
