Job Description Summary

Supports the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community, including accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, rent collection, and use of property management software to record and report financial activities.

Responsibilities
  • Handle daily financial transactions: collecting and posting rent, fees, preparing deposits, reconciling bank accounts, and processing invoices.
  • Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite), ensuring accurate data entry and system backups.
  • Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  • Manage vendor invoices, ensuring proper approval, coding, and communication.
  • Follow procedures for evictions, including notices, court representation, and legal compliance.
  • Process resident move-outs, applying deposits and fees per lease agreements and legal standards.
  • Enhance resident satisfaction by promptly addressing complaints and requests.
  • Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, overseeing daily operations and maintenance coordination.
  • Support owner relations through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds independently, 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Travel may be required to other properties or meetings.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
