JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community. Responsibilities include completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, making bank deposits, managing account reconciliations, and using property management software to record, track, and report financial activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Complete daily financial transactions such as collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments, preparing bank deposits, and reconciling accounts.
  2. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite), ensuring data accuracy and system backups.
  3. Review resident files and accounts to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  4. Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and coding.
  5. Follow established procedures for evictions, including notices, legal proceedings, and representing the community in court if necessary.
  6. Manage resident move-outs, including reviewing lease terms, applying fees, and processing dispositions.
  7. Promote resident satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
  8. Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, organizing daily tasks and coordinating maintenance.
  9. Assist in managing owner relationships through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and climb ladders; work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Lift and maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently, 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation varies based on experience, business needs, and location. Eligible employees may participate in bonus programs.
