Job description

Job Title: Assistant Community Manager

Allen Apartments (LCOR) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager with 1-3 years of experience in residential community management. The ideal candidate will have skills in rent collection, bookkeeping, move-in/out processing, aged receivables, Yardi software, and lease renewals.

The responsibilities include managing community operations, especially in the absence of the Community Manager. Key duties are:

  1. Managing monthly bookkeeping and accounting
  2. Conducting move-in and move-out inspections
  3. Processing security deposit refunds
  4. Collecting delinquent rent
  5. Inputting accounts receivable data
  6. Managing resident ledgers
  7. Depositing rent payments
  8. Handling monthly close, billing, and rent scheduling
  9. Assisting with revenue management and pricing strategies
  10. Supporting marketing efforts and online reputation management
  11. Performing duties of the Bookkeeper and Leasing Staff as needed

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  1. 1-3 years' experience in community management
  2. Leadership skills for personnel management
  3. Proficiency with Yardi software and revenue management
  4. Some college education preferred
  5. Excellent customer service and communication skills
  6. Availability to work weekends (with two days off during the week)
