Job summary

Decron Properties is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Tamarron Luxury Apartments in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports daily operations, resident communications, and leasing activities across multiple communities.

The position requires 1+ years in property management or admin support, strong organization, and customer service skills, with proficiency in Yardi/RealPage and Microsoft Office. Travel between properties is expected, with weekend/extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in property management, leasing, or administrative support.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage).
  • Understanding of Fair Housing laws and rental regulations.
  • Ability to travel locally between assigned communities.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily operations, resident communications, and leasing activities.
  • Process rent payments, track delinquencies, and assist with collections.
  • Assist in the coordination of resident move-in s, move-out s, and compliance documentation.
  • Support the community manager with budget monitoring and financial reporting.
  • Address resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate resident records, files, and documentation in accordance with company policies across assigned communities.
  • Post and process legal notices related to rent collection or lease compliance, support eviction procedures in accordance with local laws.
  • Support leasing efforts with tours, application processing, and lease signing as needed.
  • Support multiple community teams with daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to resident retention efforts, community events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate effectively with on-site teams, vendors, and residents across communities.
  • Quickly learn community-specific processes and support team transitions.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Travel between properties as needed to support team operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies/procedures.
  • Assist with vendor coordination and maintenance follow-up.
  • Support marketing and resident event efforts.
  • Provide coverage at other communities as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and company events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with daily operations, resident communications, and leasing activities

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field

Experience supporting more than one residential property or high-volume leasing office

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role requires regular travel between assigned apartment communities.

Frequently walks the property including stairs and outdoor areas

Regularly u ses standard office equipment and mobile technology

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Communicates with residents, vendors, and team members in person , by phone, and electronically

May be exposed to varying outdoor weather condition s
